Food Bazaar
Join us on April 14th, 2012 for our 37th Annual Food Bazaar!
Our new location will be St. Thomas Aquinas Center!
This is a free event to attend, and food tickets will be sold at the door.
The International Center of West Lafayette is hosting its 37th Annual International Food Bazaar on the Purdue campus during Purdue’s Annual Spring Fest this Sat, Apr 14 from 11am – 2pm in the basement of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center on corner of Marstellar and West State Streets, across from Stewart Center and Purdue Memorial Union. Purdue parking garages on Marsteller, right next to the church or at corner of Grant and State Streets. All are welcome! We anticipate over 2000 will attend.
Student organizations cooking and manning food booths: African Student Association, Caribbean Student Association, Colombian Student Association at Purdue, Fans of Dominican Republic, Purdue University Malaysian Student
Association, Nepalese Society at Purdue, Puerto Rican Student Association, Purdue Chinese School (Taiwan) and Turkish Student Association. Other booths manned by community members and students, representing foods from Brazil, Western Europe, India, Iran, Ireland, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine and Vietnam. In addition well known local Chef Schmieder each year cooks omelets to order at “The Good Egg” food booth.
Over 150 volunteers will be helping with the event.
